Job Description

As a Product Manager at Artifakt, you will be in charge of building a great product to help us achieve the company's vision (within your area). Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for designing, planning and executing the roadmap, alongside the Product Designer and the Engineering team.

You will also have to partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support and Marketing teams to ensure the product we deliver aligns closely with the company’s objectives.

Your responsibilities

Product Vision

  • Speak regularly to clients or potential users to gain an in-depth understanding of their pain, challenges and needs
  • Establish the vision and product strategy for your field of action in collaboration with the Head of Product
  • Know and understand the market (DevOps, Cloud) and keep abreast of technological developments and advances
  • Know and understand the competitive environment and regularly test the different players

Roadmap

  • Define the roadmap of your field of action, make it evolve and plan future versions of the product
  • Define and prioritize the product's functionalities in collaboration with the Engineering team and the business (keep your team focused)
  • Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate product usage and user adoption

Agility

  • Organize and maintain the product backlog (epics, deadlines, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Product Designer to design the user experience and create the necessary interfaces (user flows, wireframes, etc.)
  • Write user stories (sufficient level of detail, definition of acceptance criteria, etc.) and prioritize them in collaboration with the Engineering team
  • Run the different agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demonstrations, etc.)
  • Ensure the highest level of quality from the development output through meticulous hands-on testing

Go-to-market

  • Maintain all necessary product related documentation (general documentation, tutorials, blog posts, videos, release notes, etc.)
  • Define the criteria for the success of the product and functionalities on the market, in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Promote the product and its functionalities inside and outside the company (demonstrations, interviews, articles, etc.)

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager for a B2B software (SaaS, PaaS...)
  • Excellent analytical ability (but don’t overanalyze) and experience in transforming business requirements into effective product design and delivering end-to-end user experience solutions
  • You are super autonomous but you also know how to work in a team (team spirit, good communication abilities, etc.)
  • Strong experience in Agile process and principles (SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.)
  • Technical background is a plus
  • Interest in Cloud solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP…) is a plus
  • You speak / write in English with good standards (we are an international company at our core)
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • “Best for now” instead of perfection (“doer”)
